Interrupted cook time for Mac and Cheese?

I somehow agreed to bring macaroni and cheese in to one of my classes tomorrow for a "party" (they eat while we review for the final). This was prompted by the chicken and tator tot thing I already had cooking for a banquet after school, but now I'm running into a timing issue ( Read more... )

if you do reheat, adding a little milk when you microwave it helps prevent anything from drying out.

I've never made mac and cheese in the crockpot, but I can confidently say that 30 minutes isn't enough time for bacterial growth to start, especially if the food is hot and you leave the cover on.
