So I know a lot of people out there hate teachers because "we have it so easy..." Well here is one more reason to hate us... snow days. As the 2000 family film, "Snow Day" wisely stated, "Snow days are magical days where anything can happen." In my case, what has happened so far has been that I actually did get up and go to work at 9am despite one of the two exits to my apartment building literally being snowed in only to be sent home after an hour because the department decided to shut down. Then I came home and started reading a book that I will describe now, 115 pages in, as enlightening. I hope your snow day has been nearly as wonderful as mine. BTW, in the movie, they spend the whole day in pursuit of the elusive second consecutive snow day. Here is hoping we, too, may be blessed with this rare fate. 10 Days til BOJ.
