What's the point of nuclear weapons George? Isn't it to take life, but in the end you save lives? For example we nuked Japan twice to end WWII, wiping out tens of thousands of civilians, ( Read more... )

Wait, a Rich/Breanna? Is that like some sort of Rich and Breanna hybred you've created? A motorcycle-riding-Coke-fueled-blue-belt-Georgian-lawyer? Possibly a super hero for the 21st century to defend the virtues of truth and honor and who will bring light into our dark and troubled times? If so, I vote for Iraq to be the new Gotham.

Sadly, I haven't combined them yet. And I have lots of dead clones to prove it.

You know, I think I actually like this goofy "by the rules" method of incrementing the number of guys you get per turn in in Risk. It made it go quicker and I think it was more exciting.

The way we've played before had us taking a country and vacating it immediately, just to take a card until we could amass a decent army. This time there was immediate and steady advancement pretty much throughout the whole game.

yeah I liked going by the rules as well, the last rule we have to add is the non-random placement rule. That's what killed me in that game, I was stuck with South America and nothing else, I was really surprised I took a strong second.

I totally didn't lose interest, I was ranting right along with you and slamming my fist on my desk. Oush.

I'm totally sad that I've only been able to make it to one Game Night. As soon as my life kinda slows down, I'm gonna show again, and probably volleyball too.

Ooh ooh, one of the most interesting people on my friends list (and my life in general) is The One and Only Inner_Moppet. Misia is also a force of nature that should not missed. Smart cookie, and funny to boot. Two amazing women to admire and read with gusto.

I'm not even sure I'm going to attend my regular volleyball games anymore, it got too competitive (this coming from Mr. Competitive himself) and negative. Maybe an occasional game with friends, but not at the Lake Lansing park nets I usually played at.

Thanks for the recommendations :) They're my only ones, so I'll be sure to check them out :)
