i wonder how early you plan on getting in line for the U2 show.

i'd go at least 12 hours in advance. :)

Yeah, that's a little painful for me... 12 hours in a line, I'm not a fan of lines.... even for U2

I was thinking about bringing chairs and travel scrabble, along with all the Newsweeks I haven't read recently.... and then having one of us head back to the car with the chairs when its time.... I figure that'd be kosher with our line-mates, right? I'm not a big concert goer, what say you? Are you going?

Don't know man, if the floor is general admission you best get out there early early. Otherwise you will be in the back of non-tiered seating/standing.
