Incredible.
I think the Palace wouldn't let anyone on the property until 2pm, which would explain why we showed up @ 3:30 (4 hours until the opening act) and still got a pretty decent position near the stage. We were at the corner-front of the ellipse, 2 people back from the railing. Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam, all walked by many times just out of reach. Highlights: Sometimes you can't make it on your own, definitely drew some tears, the video screens during One had 3 Bono's, the center Bono turned into a pixelated Bono... as you zoomed closer the pixels were audience members. The late string of protest songs were delivered with great fist pumping rock and roll, but you still got a message--incredible showmanship all around.

They played a lot of HTDAAB, and a great deal of old (which Breanna really enjoyed--she really likes their old stuff best, I prefer middle and really like the new)... I loved the show, but it wouldn't have hurt my feelings any to hear a even just a song off of Rattle and Hum, Zooropa, Pop... just sayin'.
If it's possible, I'd say I'm an even bigger U2 fan after the show. Much different experience being that close. Strongly considering Cleveland tickets. But also considering all the shows I missed in the last few months: McCartney, Rolling Stones and NIN... NIN I'm fucked. But the Rolling Stones are playing in Phoenix the day we land in Vegas, and McCartney is playing LA while we're in Vegas.. so something to consider.
Easy to see why they've already sold 120 million albums and won 16 Grammys.
Home... hard to know what it is if you’ve never had one
