Hi. I noticed a question you posted on a Virginia Tech Community board...like a year ago I think. It was about the Architecture program. I applied for VT this year and am waiting to hear back to see if I got in or not. I was kind of leaning toward Architecture myself, but decided to try to go the route of Graphic/Visual Communication design. I was just curious if you got in to the Architecture Major? And if so, how do you like it?

hey-
I was accepted into VT but not into the architecture program when i really thought i was a shoo-in. They can be weird like that I guess? I know there's a process where you can apply later on to the major if you're not accepted off the bat. One of my good friends is an architecture major at tech though, and seems to ALWAYS be in the studio. They do really cool artsy projects, but I hear it can be incredibly challenging/time consuming. As it is, it's a five year major....
eeek.

I'm definetely a lot like you interests-wise in that I applied to design schools and communications programs also. (NC State, Syracuse)

I go to James Madison University and am in the School of Media Arts and Design, and I'm really happy there and everything. When I found out I hadn't been accepted to VT's Architecture school I was kind of crushed, but really, it all worked out just peeaaachy.

Anyways, I hope that helped :)
