ok, so it would seem that the topic of my book has changed. the yet untitled book is going to be about the life and times of the "almost there" 5 bands. Each telling their story from beginning to end. Since you guys are the people who would be reading such a book, please, give me an idea of who I should talk to about taking part in this ( Read more... )

Well, this is kinda hard. You need a band which was "almost there", but didn't make it. In order to figure this out, they'd have to be defunct, correct? Or do you mean almost there as in still trying and just about to break the big time? The former is hard because at best you'd have just one or two band members to talk to. The other way there's a HUGE amount of people you could talk to. Local band scene in your area I imagine?

I say the now defunct band I used to be in back in 1992-1995 called Bring In The Pigs. It was a few mates and I just fooling around with music and making fun of 'the pigs' (or police as many people don't know bacon and cops go hand in hand).

Broke up because I was too popular with the ladies (still am) and the rest of the band were always hocked up on speed, paint thinner or whatever else they could get their hands on. I'm all for expanding your mind, but fuck off if you're going to try to ruin my career.
