How many of you kids play L in more than one location? Have you ever found that his characterization changes slightly in accordance to his surroundings/game setting ( Read more... )

The only place I play him is the game he's in, but I did let him out into the dressing room sandbox for a bit (since he doesn't get to do that kind of interaction ingame very often).

He does change! As all the characters were "adapting" to a new surrounding, he became quite the little survivalist. He had to take much more initiative to get stable in there (granted, it's not an official game, but he's a character who you can't RP and only go halfway...). He's much more on edge like that-- in hunt mode, you could say. He seemed to be rather enjoying that. XD And the more necessity is prevalent, the more he'll view people on a functional level and act accordingly. In a game like DDD where he's not on the front lines, and can just do the voyeur thing to get his information, he tends to get bored, and will condesend rather than disregard.

Similar case here: have only done Econtra and dndressingroom so far.

In Econtra, was serious. In the dressingroom, she was actually pretty amused to be there. Agreed, a bit more exploratory... but not all that much more. Still... spunky.

And thought Jester's L was... naive (Vodka? In a gun? In your mouth? Just to check? No way...)

I'd like to shoot a question back: how does playing L in several comms differ from one comm with curses that change the setting? What does the varying timeframe (a day, a week?) do to L, if anything?

I'm a horrible bitch for putting him through such things for laughs, aren't I? XD

Nonononono, that was wonderful!

And anyway, if that makes you a bitch to your character, well, we're equally guilty. That was a riot. Thank you for continuing to play that with me.
