What kind of music does your L like?
Mine finds Enya soothing.

What kind of odd quirks has your L developed outside of his canon eccentricities?

What is your L's song, be it his or the song that makes you think of him?
Mine's would probably be "Take Me With You" by Tori Amos and "Justice" by Josh Kelley.

My L has a lot of music he finds interesting. As far as what song makes me think of him....I have a really hard time with this question. Goodnight Moon, I Will Not Die--those two make me think of him. But I also absolutely love his theme from the anime. It's the right amount of strong, tense and eerie.

I imagine that he listens to pop music sometimes, to go with those teen magazines he opens occasionally.

It's hard to associate just a song or just a genre because L is such an original guy. He's really hard to place. Near, Mello, and Matt are much easier to pick music for. But L. He's waaaaay different.

Sometimes my L likes to paint on the walls though.

I do agree. You can't just peg him with a couple songs or one genre really. It was hard for me to narrow it down to two songs and keep it at that. I wanted to keep re-editing my post with more but then that would defeat the purpose right? x)

Aw does he paint murals or intricate equations?

L listening to classic rock and "Venus in Furs" is quite adorable.

Enya, yep. As for music he listened to mainly classical, with a particular leaning towards baroque composers. Also, Tchaikovsky. Also also some Frank Sinatra, because he thought it was kind of cool. :D

As for the song that makes me think of him? Secret Agent Man, Johnny Rivers probably "Clint Eastwood", by The Gorillaz. I DON'T KNOW IT JUST MAKES SENSE TO ME OKAY.

I haven't given much thought to the music my L likes, but thinking about it now, I'd say classical, Beethoven, Mozart, perhaps Chopin. Anything modern would have to be very alternative, and in keeping with the classic theme, I'd say he'd prefer classic alternative rock. The Cars, The Ramones, Talking Heads, maybe even Weird Al Yankovich.

Until you brought it up, I hadn't thought that my own L HAD quirks outside of his canonical ones, but, yeah, he does. My L likes animals; he connects to them instantly, as opposed to other humans who are frequently put off by him.

Another one I discovered is my L will ask others' names and insist on referring to them very formally, using Ms. or Mr. even when someone introduces themselves by their first name. The latter amuses him to no end.
