Eee! Science!Jack! Notapaleontologist!Daniel! So adorable! They're snarky and silly and when they aren't together it hurts. I just love the touches--Jack wanting to brush Daniel's arm, Daniel touching Jack's scratched face. ♥

In my head Daniel bitched a lot more about not being a paleontologist but when I wrote it down I just wanted to kick him and I figured it would be harder to sell that yes, Jack still wants to sleep with him. ;)

I love the touches, too. They're very touchy.

Oh my god, so much LOVE!

The teamy goodness in the first "no such thing as a brontasaurus" bit is perfect- Carter's dismay. And Teal'c is perfectly done too.

But mostly... oh god, oblivious asshole Daniel. He was being SO horrible- like it didn't even occur to him that the mission wasn't about him. And everybody knew but him. And then the huddling for warmth! And actually talking! And Smart!Jack! EEEE!

Hee! Glad you enjoyed it so! I love writing the whole team. ♥

I think Daniel is kind of oblivious and self-centered when it's not obvious he should be caring about someone else, but Jack doesn't seem to mind. ;)

Yay! I wasn't sure all of Daniel's feelings were coming through Jack, but I tried my best to get them across. I love unreliable narrators. ♥

*hugs*
