Oh, I adore this! I love the terrible sense of uncertainty and foreboding that permeates this entire story--it undeniably defines this period of Marauder history, and you've written it so beautifully. ♥ And I adore Remus' characterization; pretty much every line of his dialogue had me smiling at my laptop screen like a nutter. No warmth to give away at the moment I am afraid, but I'll comment anyway.

I could totally use a Sirius shaped furnace, too. This Siberian cold front is even a bit too much for me. He could bring Remus just to make sure I'll stay really warm at night.

This was so lovely~
I loved how cautious Sirius was, so worried and unsure about everything that was changing. I always kind of imagine him as being the one to find the change of dynamics once they left Hogwarts the hardest.

Your Remus was just perfect.
