I re-read also the first parts - and now that I finally know 'Firefly' - I love this fusion very much. Jack is a perfect Captain, and I like Daniel in the role of the Companion.

Daniel knows Jack very well, the best way to get him to the shuttle is to demand that he shouldn't come. *g* I really like the sentiment behind this that they both don't to part without making up first.

And I really like Daniel's idea to give his glasses to Jack for safeguarding!

I really feel like Jack/Daniel works because they're on the same wavelength and know each other so well, even when they're being resistant.
