Aha, it's basically the only physical activity I can coordinate so when I realised there was finally a type of sport I wasn't completely crap at I rejoiced and grabbed on to it, put me in front of a basketball net and tell me to play? I'd attempt to dig a hole in the pavement and make a tunnel to China before I played.
Thanks. I guess it relates to several things, I have this aqquantince who I had to do a project with and I went to his house. In his home they had, not much in the way of anything. Quite a low income family, I think his father was on disability. And than in one very bare room they had this MASSIVE obviously expensive television. I was just really flabbergasted and meditated on the fact that they obviously do not have much money, the boy didn't have things like outdoor element ware and such, but they have this peice of technology. It just puts things into prospective.
Hey, Saw your intro and info on find lj friends and definitely would not mind reading your journal if you'd kindly allow me to do so. Also - friending you.
Hi! My name is Jaye, I live in Australia and I thought you looked fascinating. I saw your post in addme_glbt. A bit about myself? I don't quite fit into this world as a teenager, I love school and learning new things whether they be something new in Chemistry or Economics or a new word or someone's opinion or climate patterns measured in geological timeframe, I don't like sport, I read/write/listen to music often, discussing thoughts/experiences is one of my favourite things to do, my writing can sometimes sound stilted and over-formal but that's only because I want to make sure my opinion is clearly stated and can't be misunderstood, I care deeply about other people, at the risk of sounding generic I'm complicated, and I believe in respect, acceptance and common courtesy. Would you like to be friends?
I would love to be friends. I was reading your profile and we have a vast amount in common reguarding book/music/movie taste. Three things I noticed was The Mysterious Case of the Dog in the Night Time, which is an incredible book that it doesn't seem enough people read, as well as Darjeeling Limited and Good Will Hunting, which are beautiful movies in their own way. I think it's really great to have an unabashed interest in school, so many people buy into being numb. My high school experience, which just concluded was really..shitty. I enjoyed the work though I had the problem of not feeling challenged at all, so I stopped putting much effort and energy into it and managed to get myself on an individual learning program and graduate early. Also, don't worry about sounding generic at all. I think the problem is when people try desperately hard not to sound generic, and just come up fake.I look forward to getting to know you!
