Back from AX! And while I am not officially dehiatused until later tonight because I'm about to head out for a good portion of the day, this meme is shiny and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon.

AS FAR AS I KNOW there's Anni's translations, who is starting on Volume 4 since the anime covered volumes 1-3. She's just finished Volume 4, from the looks of it, and has various random translations from 5, 6, and 7 here.

There's a flocked post on the drr community here where someone's attempting to keep track of translation projects going on, though from the looks of things there's not much outside of Anni's.

Namie might have more sources than me and I know she's got volume 8 herself; staring at her pleadingly works if you'd like a general summary of the volume.

... I'M TRYING TO REMEMBER THEIR LAST THREAD TOGETHER OUTSIDE OF CFUW and all I come up with is her eating his tsundere cake so the current in-camp impression is cute-girl-who-likes-cake. Some feelings that I've carried over from CFUW are generally positive and someone he can have fun with in a non-flirty way, but they'd need to thread together again for this to really kick in.

Generally positive! Neji didn't leave a very strong impression on Kida other then 'this guy can fight and can maybe show me how I WILL BE AWESOME' but the zen-ness that Neji had going for him was nice and relaxing for Kida, so he wouldn't be adverse to chatting with him again.

Neji didn't really have a good impression of Kida from when he was a chibi, but he actually climbed out of that when they talked again, so he's sort of neutral on him now. He doesn't seem too bad, though his attitude will kind of take getting used to. Threading again would be good.

How will Kida react when he finds out Sasuke is Itachi's brother? (Or how has he reacted if it happened and I missed it.)

... Two scenarios:

1: He finds out Itachi is dating someone who is not Sasuke BEFORE finding out he's his brother. General amusement/surprise that Itachi has a brother and that brother is an angry emo ninja.

2: He finds out Sasuke is Itachi's brother while still under the impression that they're dating, ie THE FUN OPTION. I would literally do a post with Kida screaming "ITACHI YOU'RE DATING YOUR BROTHER?!" because that's about how it would go down. He'd find it very very weird but Itachi is a cool guy and Kida won't judge his weird tastes even though they are weird.

... What would be Neji's reaction to finding out someone thought Sasuke and Itachi were boyfriends?

... Honestly he's mostly forgotten about it? I MEAN it doesn't exactly come up between them a lot (or at all since it happened) so he hasn't bothered to sit down and think 'hmm my friends can SEE THE FUTURE'.

IF HE WERE TO PUT HIS MIND TO IT THOUGH it's kind of weird and kind of cool but mostly it doesn't change things between them so it's not all too important to him. IT CAN BE THAT THING WE DON'T TALK ABOUT.

Does Banjou ever get worried about Kida flirting with Bekku in a RIVAL!!1 sort of sense?

YES AND NO. In a weird sense, Banjou kinda appreciates the whole rival thing since it's pushing him to actually confess to Bekku. He only really worries when he can't tell when Kida is flirting like he always does or is play-flirting. IN THE END, Banjou will thank Kida whenever he finally confesses.

TELL ME ABOUT WORKING! since I know nothing about it.

I PLAN TO DO A PIMPING POST IN THE NEAR FUTURE but Working!! is essentially a slice-of-life series following a bunch of people who work in a restaurant. It's super silly and funny, and it's mostly the characters that get a focus since there's no real driving plot to it ( ... )
