I need a muse. I just stayed up all night into the wee hours of the morning and registered for class for winter quarter. I am really excited to take French 102 and Modern European History, but sadly I could not get into Spanish 201 so I am taking Dinosaurs. If no one drops Spanish 201 (which I'm sure they will) then I plan to take German 101. I

That was a good entry. Your entries aren't necessarily sad, you're just figuring out a lot about things right now. I hope you stay in Dinosaurs, because that class sounds awesome. I have to go now, I have a busy day of doing nothing ahead of me.

It's true. Germanic languages kill all the others. No way to deny it. German, Dutch (essentially funny-sounding German), and all Scandinavian languages (including the ever-loved, sing-songy Swedish, which is often overlooked despite obviously being the most beautiful of languages). Even English is Germanic (despite Latin and Greek elements) and let's face it, English has taken over the planet. Whatever happened to spreading Esperanto? Fuck if I know. But yeah, Deutch is the way to go. I hope to take it next year, as it'd be not too difficult knowing two other Germanic languages. Romance languages are for push-overs. Word.
