well, if the right thing leaves you alone, that means everyone else is in the wrong... so if that's the case.. then you're the one who's winning man. Lead others in the right direction too, then we can all win

Exactly- if the right thing leaves you alone that does mean that the others are wrong. So, in the end, I would say that you are justified and right for doing the correct thing, even though sometimes in the end we do wonder why we do it...I suppose it is just one of the age-old questions...Why does one seem to suffer for doing it? Still, don't give up for doing the correct thing...whatever the matter was I'm glad you did the right thing.
