Seph looked down at him as they kissed, making himself look, making sure he didn't pretend this was Jason. He had to be in the present, in the now. With John, whoever he might be.

"What are you?" that he could take the heat.

"I'm just a man," he said with a shake of his head, "but I've been around." He smoothed hair off Seph's forehead, bending to kiss him again. "I'll let you know if it's too much."

He looked at John for a moment before running a finger along his arm, leaving pleasure as wizards had once left intense pain.

"Good. I don't want to hurt you."

He darted forward and pressed a kiss to John's mouth.

"Never been so glad I'd stopped for smokes..."
