I need another lesson in rowing. I've noticed that you used different terms to describe water conditions. I'm guessing "flat" implies calm winds. What other terms are there to describe water/weather conditions?
flat = no waves choppy = waves white caps = no rowing because its really super wavy and yucky out.
obviously the less wind the more likely you'll have flat water and the more wind the more likely you'll have white caps.
it sucks basically.
rain is okay to row in. lightening = big no no. you have to wait 1 hour after the last strike before you can go out on the water (our riggers -what hold our oars in place- are metal).
