We're supposed to ask some online "oracle" to give us some word that will guide us toward complacency or contentment by posing a question dealng with some aspect of our life we're unsure about. I'm tempted to ask it what better things I could be doing with my time ( Read more... )

livejournals transform people into something that is overwhelmingly human, just by nature of the way you look at what they have written.

life is about endorphins. its not fun to feel pain so we avoid it. its fun to be satisfied so we strive for it. you dont have to look any further than your instincts.

I agree, but I also think that it's harder for some people to be satisfied through no fault but their own personality, and even harder for them to try and be satisfied with the relative ease with which other people around them find satisfaction without feeling like selling out. That's the way it is for me, at least.

And if the above line of your reply is true, what kind of monstrosity does a MySpace turn a person into

Ok, so, I was going to write some comment or something agreeing with stuff you said and possibly saying some uplifting, 'attaboy shit, but my computer crashed 4 times while I was trying to either navigate to this page or type the fucking comment, so now I'm just pissed off and it looks like that's all you get.
