Neighborhood Redux: Strip District

I started working in the Strip District in May. There are things I miss about working downtown, but the Strip District is awesome.  In an effort to stop sucking so much at posting, I thought I'd tell you some of the things I've come to love about this neighbothood.

That business about the trains sounds absolutely delightful. And thanks for mentioning JoJo's, maybe me and MY Jojo will have to go check it out for brunch sometime!!

Note: Chemo is kind of the worst medicine because it also kills you.

Also I was thinking about "Laughter is the best medicine" + veterinary medicine and how animals don't laugh. Maybe that is why they die so much. Or because they are animals.

Blood oath reinstated!

I really liked this post because I almost never hang out in the strip even though it is so close to me. When I worked at the Schenley Park Cafe, we only sold La Prima because of its rep for being the best in the Burgh.

I feel like your story is missing as piece like, what is the transition from seeing a man in a 'coonskin cap to having lunch with him? Did you strike up a conversation about mutual fur poncho love? Do you love fur ponchos? I don't know!

You know, I THOUGHT I saw you wandering around down there. I work for Dollar Bank up in Liberty Commons right near you and, yes, working in the strip is great.
