I'm kind of curious. I haven't updated in a year and a half and I suddenly got the urge for some reason. Don't expect it to happen much. For all of you who don't know, here is the update on my life since I last updated, which I believe was August of 2005. WOWSA ( Read more... )

Yay! It's really weird seeing you here on LJ, I must admit...but it's a welcome breath of fresh air. Oh, and if you happen to find a job in the publishing field, lemme know, cuz I want one too. (Ya didn't know that I majored in English, did ya?)

I <3 you, Sara!!!

There aren't any prospects in Boise, so it's a good thing I'm moving to Seattle after I graduate. I've already started doing research (even though I have at least two more years) and found that Seal Press, who published the book "Cunt" among other things, is based out of Seattle. How rad would that be to get a job there? PS come work at BSU with me, dammit!

uhm....by the way. this is kind of strange. i went to the balcony the weekend before christmas. i was there alone, waiting for a few other friends to show up. there was a guy that i was making eyes with. he came over and talked to me. and said i looked really sad. .....and that the neurolux might be more "my type of bar." what the hell does that mean? is it bad? i know where its at, but i've never been!

It's not really bad. It used to be known as the hipster bar, dark and moody compared to the sparkle and shine of The Balcony. So that's probably what the stranger meant, if you looked sad you might fare better in moodier surroundings. However I wouldn't suggest trying the Neurolux out for moodiness on a Friday or Saturday night, as lately these nights tend to be filled with guys with backwards visors and chicks in crop tops in the dead of winter. But during the weeknights you can still get the original bleak experience.
