why is having sex also called making love? how do you make love out of sex LOL.

i guess it's been like that since the olden times?
when concubines are married into the palace for that purpose, and some men do still go for prostitution/one-night-stands.

well, according to Catholicism, sex is the greatest form of love that one person can give to another.

And sex should achieve 2 main purpses,
1. Pro-creation
2. Pleasure

Sex is supposed to be an act of love one shows to another. However, in our modern secular society, it has become just an act of lust performed to satisfy one's cravings. How sad, sigh. Hence, you and many others wonder how can love be derived from having sex.
