FRINGE. SO BEHIND WITH THE EPISODES, I SUCK. But I somehow managed to avoid being spoiled about the season finale (...so far). *hooray for small achievements*
writers NOT realizing IT'S FUCKING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
THIS. The "best" part was catching some writers interview were they tried to justify what they did saying that House had seen how the people in the living room were getting up and moving to another part of the house, so he knew the crash wouldn't hurt them. WUT?!
I don't see a way to come back from such a thing either. House is a jerk, and irresponsible, sure, but this is another level alltogether. This is attempted murder. I bet Shore and co. even laughed at the idea of House handing Cuddy that damn brush before walking away and telling Wilson that now he feels better. They're so cool and edgy. *facepalm*
YAY you getting into Community. It's such a small, precious show.
He probably hadn't predicted the amount of backlash they would be getting. (HOW THE HELL they didn't see the epic fail in what they were doing, is beyond me). Just yesterday I read him saying that they do plan to explore the consequences of House actions from a legal, personal and professional POV. Suuuuuure *snorts* - in reality, all we'll get is Wilson giving him the cold shoulder for 2-3 episodes.
It's really underrated - it has quite its fandom online, but the ratings suck so the majority of the general viewers keep ignoring it. :/
I thought the first season was pretty weak, but it looks like even the fans of the show aren't too fond of it and fell in love with the story and the characters in S2, so I guess I really should keep watching.
I'm ok! A bit stressed out but it could be worse, lol. What about you? How are things going with your goal to become a teacher? Best of luck with everything, btw.
I hope to continue the series in the summer. Maybe its a show that grows on you.
Poor thing. I understand, I'm incredibly stressed too. Woke up too with a migraine so I just feel awful lol. I'm almost at the finishing line now. One month left of uni and I have a job lined up at a fantastic school.
I'm not really on here much now. Maybe we can exchange msns or do you have tumblr?
Sorry for being such a disaster when it comes to blogging!
Stay strong! And it's awesome news to hear that you have a good job experience to look forward too, it surely makes for a great motivator! Congrats! You deserve it. :)
I do have a tumblr but I haven't been using it in months due to lack of time to take care of it. I'm damnnearpoetic over there though, in case I get back into it. I'm on Twitter - I'm not super active but I do check it much more regularly than other places. Do you happen to have an account there?
I didn't read your entry since I watch a bunch of those shows and fully intend to actually watch these seasons someday. That said, I'm so jealous of your ability to watch TV! I miss it! XD
LOL, I'm a fraud, actually! XD I always check out a gazillion of trailer and pilots with the intentions to add more shows to my list, but rarely I keep up with the plan because I either lack time, or I just forget. *facepalm*
I've only watched 3 or 4 episodes of 30 Rock, so I am in an even worse "position" than you, lol. I liked TTBT just fine (the seasons I've watched, at least), but considering how much love for it I used to see online, I expected something more original/unique.
I used to have mad love for House (both show, and character), but it's been fading for a while. :/
Having just fallen hopelessly in love with this show, I will say this about Parks and Rec: I didn't start flapping my arms up and down until 2.10. I struggled through season one but I watched it because I wanted to get the basic concept of the show and it was only 6 episodes. Started watching season 2 and even though I found parts of it very amusing - and I was totally in love with Leslie and Ron - I didn't find it *hilarious*. Got to 2.10 and I legitimately have not stopped laughing since. I have not found a series since Friends that could make me laugh out loud and for so long.
I'll try to get around watching the first part of S2 next week-end then, so I get to the really good stuff. I truly want to love it as much as everyone does because it looks like a really sweet, nice comedy. Usually all the comedy I watch is cynical and super sarcastic and meta, so I could use some variety!

Interesting because I keep hearing how great Parks is. I watched the pilot and it was mildly amusing and am waiting to see if it picks up.
How are you? :)
