I think 'surreal' is the word. But it's real. So I feel bad for actually finding it kind of an amusing image. Because a bunch of people got mutilated and mauled and, er, killed by a big nasty cat, and I of all people understand the terror that is the Big Nasty Cat. But...surely not? Surely a bunch of midgets didn't really try to fight a lion? WHY WON'T YOU LET ME JUST FIND THIS FUNNY, GOD?

(I am sleep deprived at the moment, in case you were wondering.)

Laugh all you want kids, because it's not real. That news story is posted on a mirror of the BBC website, not the actual BBC website itself.

i was going to try and post a comment explaining that it wasn't real, but then realized i don't know website jargon. So good thing Gina sensibly explained, even though i still don't know what that means. But what it does mean is that i can laugh about it all i want!!!

Now I feel even worse, because I'm disappointed that it's not real, even though when I thought it was real I felt bad for thinking it was funny.
