[It's about 9 in the morning and Jade is going about her morning routine. When she goes to brush her teeth, she discovers her toothpaste has been replaced with frosting! After she discovers this incredibly silly (and rather tasty) prank, she goes to find her Pokégear and starts up a video feed.]

[Eridan had went with Soul to stay the night..day..morning at Jade's after they were pranked. He yawns and walks by whatever room Jade is in and hears the word "prank". This intrigued him so he goes over and stands in the doorway.]

Oh, that's right! You're a troll, so you wouldn't know about April Fool's Day. Basically it's a day where people prank each other for fun!

[Granted, given the fact that she grew up on an island she doesn't really have any personal experience with it either... She'd actually never been pranked before! Come to think of it, that was kind of exciting.]
