[Robert's outside for once! Mostly because being exothermic and having a sudden desire to go into bodies of water are good reasons to do so. Even so, he's still hermit-ish thanks to social phobia (which is a bit exacerbated as a turtle) and is mostly looking down - which is why he notices the tiny, scuttling crab.
At first he doesn't hear Sayo's voice - but honestly, as an astrobiologist, Robert is very observant, and eventually he catches the soft strains of a panicking tone. Most crabs are incapable of vocalization, but...]
Ah, excuse me there... Would you happen to need some assistance? [He stoops, carefully, and offers his green, leathery, two-fingered hand as a platform. It's preferable to stepping on the cute little crab, at least.]

[Robert goes over to the bathtub... Is it one of those separate basin-type bathtubs or a more modern-style bathtub that's fixed in place? Either way, he goes about rigging a kind of platform in it, preferably out of something that won't absorb water - maybe like a box - and places it in such a way that it won't be submerged when the tub has water in it. That way, Sayo has somewhere to be fed, and she can climb out of the water so that she doesn't drown - some land crabs can't stay underwater indefinitely anymore because they're adapted to breathing air, albeit through moist gills.
He then fills the rest of the tub with water.
After this, he returns to Sayo's side on the table.] Ah, that's him, then? Yes... I don't recognize him at all. But... [Robert hits the call function anyway. Even if he's a little nervous... Sayo's health is certainly more important than being slightly embarrassed and socially anxious.

Believe it or not, (it's not that hard to believe, really) Ginko was on his way to visit Sayo. Because everyone has gone crazy in Luceti, as per usual, and he doubts Sayo will much be able to tell what she is, on the event that she does turn into something.

[O-oh!]
G-Ginko-san!
[She cannot bring herself to tell him why he can't see her in the little screen. How it's... just a wall. She glances over toward Robert, and then back at the screen... that is waaaay up there. W-woe.]
Um ...How are you, today?
Ah, Robert-san, could you tip the journal just a little more downward?

[Robert actually does a few false starts before realizing logically what occurred.] A-Ah. Mr. Ginko.
And... why yes, Ms. Sayo. Certainly. [Oh, this is uncomfortable. Robert delicately angles the journal downward so Sayo's tiny body comes into view. And he helpfully adds what might already be obvious.]
Ms. Sayo has been affected by the experiment. She's currently in the form of a small crustacean. I'm not entirely sure which, but... most likely a land crab of some sort, though.
... And I have been affected by it as well, if you are curious. [That has a whole other explanation of its own.]

Okay, more than slightly socially anxious.]
