[It's probably a good thing Mithos was already awake, sitting up in bed, when that panicked cry rings out from down the hall. It gives him enough of a jolt as is. Enough to grab for his journal and...okay, others are already flocking to her questions. The tension floods from him and he deflates back against the pillow. It's...just because it startled him

[She's busy re-reading pages, scribbling notes, looking a little cheery one moment, worried the next, but always determined. And then she closes them, setting them neatly on the coffee table when she realizes Mithos is there.]

[As he sits there he steals the occasional glance in her direction, but for the most part remains lost in his own thoughts. He's noticed this is routine for her, the blue notebook and the journal, and he wonders if it's to aid her memory...

He turns to look at her, always tense and weirdly surprised when she addresses him. Like until that moment, there's a barrier dividing the room and he isn't really there, and she can't really see him. A beat, then he shrugs in put-on indifference.] ...Anything is fine.

[Better get used to that routine. And better get used to sticky notes all over the place, especially in the small kitchen she has in her apartment. And next to outlets; things like 'DANGEROUS, don't poke at'. It's a dangerous life being all airheaded-ly forgetful, you know. But she rises up to her feet, going over to tie back her kimono sleeves.]

How about Sukiyaki? Someone mentioned it earlier, and now I'm thinking it would be great to eat today...

Aah, that does sound like a lot of fun! I can always treat myself to something tasty... ah!! I really should keep a calendar handy, for these sorts of things. Do you know what one of those are? I just learned about them a few days ago. They've been so helpful!

She trusted that the woman would be fine since these weren't unusual occurrences.

[Ah! She was hoping to see you today, Raine; she offers the usual smile, though it doesn't seem to lack any genuineness to it. No, despite the moments of surprise from her forgetting things, it's been a pretty good day.]

[Seeing Sayo looking more relaxed -- in a stark comparison to her earlier panic -- at least coaxes a small smile from Raine, as she moves over to one of the quieter areas -- the seating without the table and chairs set up. She finds herself glancing for Sheena, remembering only belatedly that her friend is off on a mission. Hm.]

I'm glad to hear that. I wouldn't mind having some tea.
