New Years Eve Reflections: Over the last year, did things go pretty much as you'd expected or planned, or did your life take a significant, unexpected turn? Overall, was it a good year or one that you want to put behind you as fast as you can?
Plans! What are plans, eh? It's safe to say any plans I had were well and truly ruined when my work was blown up.
Over this past year (has it been a year? a few months? a couple of hours?), I've been chased by plastic people, seen the end of the world, met the father who died when I was a kid, befriended -- if you want to call it that -- a Dalek, travelled through time and space and back again and-- there's just no way I can list it all, okay?
And at the centre of all that is the Doctor. I met the Doctor, and he changed my life, took me places I'd never even imagined before. Turned my world upside down, he did. I'm never safe, not while I'm with him, and you know what?
I wouldn't change that for the world, not for a thousand worlds. Everything's behind me and ahead of me, all at the same time, and I love it.
2005 -- the year of my life.
