And now for your regularly scheduled TV Shows Rant...

It was a pretty unremarkable episode... It kinda felt like a filler so I'm really hoping that its purpose was to really set things in motion. There's a couple of things I want to comment on though...

Dude, what was up with the over-abundance of Rory Praise? All the women at the DAR meeting fawning over her ideas, Richard gushing over how she's the greatest at everything she puts her mind to... God. It pissed me off and I had Lana Lang flashbacks and how everything she does is beautiful and right. *gag* Thankfully, Rory is a decently written character, even at times when she's being a spoiled little brat (like now), and at least she really does work for her accomplishments, and works hard for them.

How cute was Luke thinking Lorelai banished him to the woods? Saying he doesn't care what he does as long as Lorelai's with him? Guh. So damn adorable.

Emily's bitch out of Shira Huntzburger was THE SHIT. We all know where Lorelai gets her snark and bite from and it ain't from Richard.

And finally, the look on Richards face at the end when he was watching Rory was *perfect*. It's like he was hit on the head with the fact that Lorelai was right about EVERYTHING, how Logan's family treated Rory, the reason Rory dropped out of Yale, and that Rory is going *nowhere*, and he looked physcially pained at the thought.

Next week looks gooooooood.

Blaire's said it a thousand and one times but I've gotta say it again. Poster boys for incest.

Ava and I were watching the episode over pillows (to avoid seeing Bloody Mary) and Gabby walks in the apartment, looks at us and goes, "If it scares you, why do you watch it?" And Ava goes, "Because dammit, Jensen and Jared are so fucking pretty!"

Aaah, I've taught her well.

Oh, and this?

Dean: Sammy... Sammy...
Sam: It's Sam

SO FREAKING CUTE. I love these two boys.

Man I love Veronica and Lamb scenes. The snark. The wit. The insults. Beautiful.

Rob seems to be doing a good job of having at least one scene per episode where Logan is shirtless. Keep it up Robbie and us fangirls just might forgive you for fucking Veronica and Logan over.

It's official, I don't like the new girl (totally forgot her name!) You know, Wallace's new thing. I don't know what it is but... I don't like her.

Still don't like The Donut. He did absolutely nothing and was completely unnecessary. Seriously, besides the fist fight with Logan, what was his point in the episode? Besides being a drain on the show?

Speaking of the fist fight, Logan's comment about not plugging her right the first time? Priceless. I guess it confirms that Donut ain't all that in bed and that both he and Veronica know it. I also like that Logan's anger at Duncan isn't just about Veronica, it's about the fact that Duncan wasn't there for him during his summer from hell. Duncan can play the 'your dad murdered my sister' card but it won't work. Logan loved and lost Lilly too, and he has to live with the fact that HIS DAD was the one who killed her.

The Kick Ass Veronica made a few appearances. Especially with Logan. I think it's funny that Logan is one of the few people that can bring out the "real" Veronica now. With Donut, she's trying to be the Bubblegum Veronica of yesterday and he's either dumb enough to believe her or just letting her get away with it. And I bet it's all going to blow up in his face.

What's the deal with Alicia? Why was that guy calling her 'Sherry' or whatever? Hhmmm... I wonder if that has something to do with her not wanting Keith to run for Sheriff?

The Logan and Veronica scene at the end was awesome. Just the fact that Veronica went over there to tell him that the shit just hit the fan, even if it was her doing, speaks volumes. She still cares about him. And she was visably upset that Logan was screwing around with Kendall and that he's on such a self destructive path. I think that's where all the rage and biting words came from.

Poot Beaver. He looked so confused and scared when his dad flipped a lid about him hiring a P.I.

So Aaron Echolls is still trying to get to Veronica? Wonder how Logan's gonna react if or when he finds out about that?

So much good stuff is happening so far!!!

Finally some OTHER people besides Kate and Locke. Infact there wasn't much Kate or Locke at all, which I appreciated.

I knew Jin speaking English had to be a dream. Still. It was so weird to hear him do that.

Charlie is so cute. The first thing he does when he finds out there's food is ask if there's peanut butter for Claire.

So glad to see a two minutes of Claire and Sun, and about ten seconds of Shannon. I miss them. I want to see more of them. Same goes for Sayid. More of Sayid too.

I can't wait to see what happens when Ana Lucia and Jack meet again. She's the leader of her group and Jack's the leader of THE group... There's bound to be sparks. And I hope she trounces Kate.

So... what happened to the "other" group that killed off the majority of the survivors? Could it be the "sickness" Desmond talked about? And I wonder if they're in what Jack and Sayid can't get to. The thing that's been covered in cement.

We're finally getting somewhere.
