Weekly VM Rant
I'm watching Curly Sue. Words cannot express how much I love this movie. I watched it multiple times a week when I was younger and I haven't seen it in forever and a day. I was flipping channels and there it is, just starting. *sigh* Memories.
I didn't think it was great as the past couple of episodes but it didn't disappoint entirely.
Some lines that struck me as particurlarly funny:
“The only way I’d ever make 2Gs a week at the Hut is if they installed a pole.”
“The next time I shoot you, it won’t be digitally. Unless I hit you in the finger, then we’ll have a big laugh about it.”
“Do you leave heroin out when Iggy Pop spends the night?”
On to the episode:
When we first met Jackie, I didn't mind her. Infact, I thought she was going to turn out to be pretty cool. She was bitchy but she owned it and she was a firecracker. She started to grate on the nerves in the second episode and by the third, I she left a bad taste in my mouth cause she appears to be fucking around with other guys when Wallace likes her so much. No one messes with Wallace and remains likable in my eyes. And this week? HATE her. Want to smack her nine ways from Sunday. Go ahead, have a chat with the "little blonde pixie." She'll shred you to pieces with her words alone.
I'm loathing Duncan more and more with each episode. He visits Meg everyday and then he gets pissy and clams up when Veronica finds out (did he seriously think she wouldn't?) and questions him about it? What-the-fuck ever dude. At least Rob and Co. are keeping up with continuity on Duncan's avoiding major, big things and trying to push them under the rug. And TD is not pretty with his shirt off. He's got a Budda Belly
I daresay we're starting to see the self-destruction of the VD. Duncan's keeping something from Veronica and she was short and snappy with him for the majority of the episode. The way she spat "Oh you want me to hide in the bedroom like a hooker? Perfect!" was awesome. Can't wait to see it fall apart at the hinges. It's not that I want Veronica to be with Logan, I don't want that now. They're both roo screwed up for that right now. It's just that Duncan is so boring and inanimate objects have more chemistry then they do.
Weevil!!!! We got some Weevil! Not nearly enough but... I'll take what I can get.
And not nearly enough Logan. But he looked good in blue. He should wear more blue. And he was hysterical. His mustache twirl had me in stitches. Is the Kendall thing over? And as usual, Logan and Veronica set off the sparks just by being snarky with each other.
Meg's parents pissed me off. Actually fuckwits, if Meg hadn't been a petty bitch and just gotten in the limo with everyone else, THEN she wouldn't be hooked up to machines. And what was the deal with them "pulling the plug" on her?
The weird, stalker guy as Wallace's father? Called that one from a mile away. And again, what's with 'Cherry'? Poor Keith looked heartbroken at the end, whatever it was.
Return of the Mac!!! Woot. She needs to be in more episodes.
