Saw this yesterday,but no replies yet for you.Have you thought of asking major hospitals around the world for help,or maybe a zoo could point you in the right direction?Or a vetinary practice? There's a hospital for tropical diseases in London that might be of assistance. Hope this helps,good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion - I was looking up phone numbers for the staff of a local natural museum and decided to do one more google search. Came up with the study linked below, which had a lot of the information I was looking for.
