I like this summer's routine thus far, mostly because it  includes walking across the Hawthorne bridge at least once a day.

It's funny how the absence of one key friend can make me feel like I have no friends at all.  Or not see the point in calling the friends who are around to hang out.

Why does everyone suck?

I feel shitty about ten different ways tonight.  I can only apologize so many times before I feel like puking.

None of my options for tonight appeal to me.

I feel kind of weird saying this, but...I can't stop listening to Styx today.  'Come Sail Away' makes me feel irrationally hopeful, like the king of the world scene in 'Titanic.'   Let's just say I've been doing hella air piano.

Oh man! Oh man oh man oh man. The last two days have been so good. The weather is in that winter to spring transition so you get sun and rain back to back and it's great. Keeps me on my toes.  Yesterday I was studying Kubla Khan in the park in shorts and a t-shirt and today I had to wear my rain boots.

Funkadelic may be the coolest entity of any kind ever to exist on this earth.
