Read Fight Club, Choke, and Bonfire of the Vanities. Those books will change the way you look at things, although you may not appreciate Bonfire of the Vanities just yet.

lol derek suggesting whatever he reads. dont bother with those books (but tom wolfe is cool, and im sure you could handle it). if you want to have a positive outlook on life, drop out of school and join a convent. free food, free wine, and your never in a rush. fuck you could fake your way into the place, and its easy to leave for a booty call, and for the mere price of giving your life to a faceless entity!! but serious life is a cycle of all those crappy things you mentioned, and yes, we do things to get to the next thing. theres nothing that will ever change, and even though im huge pessamist, realist, sceptic, ambigulite etc. im (trying) to keep my personal cycle in order so that i can jam my shoes in its clockwork whenever it is i grow up. just enjoy yourself for now, dont think big picture. only think about the next day. then worries etc., wont build up. you can deal with them shorthand. but dont take my word for it. ive ever fucked to much with the "gears of life."
