Well, everyone who didn't comment on my last post is a loser. You should all know that my concern was not really with myself, but with the lucky lady who will be going on a blind date/double date with me and the Hankins' (this really nice and cool couple at my church) next weekend

Dude, if you can get a jr. higher or high schooler to say, "Duke, thanks for leading us in worship like that. I really felt a connection with God," then I applaud you bro. All you can really pray for is that you are being used as God's instrument in corporate worship and portraying a sincerity and excellence worthy of His glory.

Dude, you're deacon material. (1Tim 3:8-10) Don't let your age fool you. (1Tim 4:12) Heck read all of 1Tim, its Paul's instructions to a young church leader. I'm going to read it myself.

Dude, you're totally right. But this group of kids seems much more connected with God than any other group I've seen. Either way, I'm just glad to be serving where needed. And thanks for the encouragement. As far as b-ballin' it I'm not sure. I don't really have ready access to a gymnasium except for at lunch on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Yes to all questions except "and they are pretty good". Because I believe the exact quote was "that was powerful", which is a little better than pretty good. :D
