I was driving to work this morning and heard a song I'd never heard before but immediately recognized the voice as Bob Dylan. It was something about "baby I just want to be your friend". I liked the lyrics. Bob Dylan was a GREAT lyricist. He had a terrible voice and his guitar playing (at least in that song) was very simple. Yet, people love(d) him

Bob Dylan was a great lyricist, but your right, people don't care about good lyrics these days, unless their Christian bands, but even then sometimes it seems like they put the first words they thought of to a tune they wanted to play. Maybe that's why music from the 60's and 70's is so awesome.
