Dancing on the Edge was inspired by my children and by other stories about children who, like my own, are adopted. Han Nolan is one of my favorite authors. I have read all of her books except for When We Were Saints, which I started last night. She's writes amazing stories that are quite riveting, to say the least. so read all her books, you would love them! yay!

basically if your parents arent there for you you loose sorts of independence and trust toward everyone.
these type of parents are called "Uninvolved" (well that was hard!)
then ther is a law by Erik Erikson (hahahaha yea i know) and it has like 8 diff stages and one of then is Identity vs. Role COnfusion where when you are a teenager you start to try 2 determine who you are from your surroundings and personality
