Hah, guess I can't complain about this solution having already been derived! Can't really calculate how long I was gone, but it was still dull.

Island-like? Why the factor would it be island-like?

No, it was a space. Opened or close, I don't know. |Darkness|. Could hear the other digits in there, but couldn't touch them or see them no matter how minimal the distance was between the 2 points. Whatever plane we were standing on was covered in blood. Again, couldn't see it at the time, but it was zetta obvious by the smell and taste.

I don't know how we were added in or removed. I could go with the easiest and obvious assumption and blame the scientists, but that seems highly unlikely.
