[The video feed cuts on around 3:14 in the morning. Obviously it's pretty dark out, but it's still possible to make out the wall of a certain one story ranch-style house. And the focus stays on that wall for a good couple minutes until.....

[Well. Thank you for that, Sho. Joshua had been asleep, on his side with his back to that very wall. And, being asleep, his senses were far from up to par. Not to mention that his slight bit of precognition, already fairly well screwed over by being in his RG form, is incredibly fickle here.

When the vending machine comes crashing through his wall, it clips the back of his shoulder hard, shoving him roughly onto the floor. A rude awakening, indeed. Thankfully the machine itself tumbles and comes to a stop as it impacts with his door hard enough to knock it off all but one hinge, avoiding another impact with Joshua altogether. The broken glass and shattered brick on the floor, though, are not the most comfortable things to lay on.

For a moment, the only thing in Joshua's mind is pain. He doesn't scream or cry out, still somewhat stunned from the blow, but his shoulder is on fire. He can't move his left arm at all.]

[The crash wakes him up and he's on his feet in a moment, stunned as he throws himself to his feet. It's like being doused in cold water: seconds ago, he was being crooned at by his mother and father, half-starved and bound in a straightjacket.

This? This was better, somehow.

He throws himself out of his bed, knocking once on Josh's door before shoving it open --]

Did you hear --

[Oh. What?]

-- what?

[You're going to have a hard time getting into his room with that vending machine in the way, Neku. Though it isn't hard to see Joshua on the floor, curled up against himself among the rubble, holding his shoulder. He's not answering.]

-- Jesus Christ, what -

[Neku is already trying to squirm his way through the crack in the door and over the vending machine.]

Beat! Rhyme! [And then, more loudly:] Mr. H!

[But Neku is small, luckily, and he's kicking through the rubble in a minute or so, checking in a panic to see if Josh is breathing. :|]

[A silent gasp, and then...]

Why... Why did you do that?

[He seems to be moving pretty fast, since he can't, you know, teleport at his leisure.]

Don't see why I have to explain myself to a hectopascal.

[...]

What if there were people inside?

[Nope, he doesn't recognize the house.]

That's the desired solution.

[He wasn't looking to KILL anyone, just maim them with a vending machine.]

[SO. CONFUSED.

At least Shizuo thinks he's pretty sure he didn't throw that one. Unless this place causes memory lapses.]

[oh not much. Sho is just laughing and running. Imagine the kid who stuck the camera in his brother's room in "The greatest freakout ever".]
