I struck him several times in the face and head. I'm sure there's substantial bruising. I also bit him. He was bleeding, so I expect he may need stitches.

Someone should go examine him.

You can use this as my statement: I attacked him without provocation.

He'll probably have something to say on the matter.

I don't know where he is now.

He didn't resist. He...asked me to stop and take him to level zero.

How much of a coincidence do you think it is? I cut off communication with him and four days later my inmate's in the infirmary?

Not really. I'll be fine.

My guessed would be either someone synthesized it in the lab for him somehow, or he got it in a port somewhere.

Or someone else has heroin.

I know it doesn't help much, but you're not the first warden to have lost it over something that happened to their inmate or to a friend, and I suspect you will be far from the last.
