[Warden Filter]

I haven't been in touch with my inmate - Louis, the one that looks like Brad Pitt - in a few days now. I stopped by his room, but he isn't answering the door.

[She hesitates.]

What's the procedure here? I mean, do I break his door down?

Has anyone heard from him?

[OOC: Louis is in a Barge coma in his room, per Mem's OOC comm ( Read more... )

If you're unable to unlock it by civil means, then I may suggest you do so... but carefully. Perhaps you might employ one of me who actually uses the sonic screwdriver.

Thanks, Doc. Good luck on your trip.

Thank you. I would invite you along, but if you're going to lose your ward so soon, I dread to imagine how quickly you'd misplace a planet.

[Kidding, kidding.]

I didn't lose him. Exactly. I mean, I know where he is. I just can't get to him at the moment.

It's more like accidentally locking your keys in the TARDIS.

It would be good to check, but be cautious. It's not uncommon for people to disappear and then reappear days or even weeks later. Or for them to simply go to sleep and wake up, again, days or weeks later.

Go to sleep for weeks? I don't understand.

I don't either. But it happens. They wake up weeks later and don't really seem to suffer from anything. It's like...a coma.

Is it just the vampires or does it happen to everyone?

I have a lock pick kit you can borrow if you need it.

I don't have any idea how to use one.

I could help you out then if you would like.

Neil Howie's coming down to pick the lock for me, but, ah...I wouldn't say no to some lessons later. Seems like it'd be a handy skill to have.

If it doesn't involve lockpicks or sonic screwdrivers, I'm all for it, Neil.

I don't know how to pick locks. Looks like I'm going to have to learn. If you do, though, then by all means: pick away.

You could request the Admiral open the door. Is your Item still responding to him?

It is.

...

Yes, it is.

Then he hasn't disappeared, and you would have been made aware of his death. It's possible he's succumbed to a comatose state, as some do. Is he usually unresponsive?

I'm not sure, actually. I was just assigned to him a few weeks ago.
