[Since the freaky deekiness of the City lately, Buffy has stepped up patrol. She's out in the Underground more often and sticks around longer and tonight is no exception. [Seeing this video forces a scream from Dawn. She looks worriedly into the image trying to figure out exactly where Buffy is before she's hurrying out the door. The video going blank does that whole worst possible scenario thing, forcing her into a panic as she's running from the warehouse in search of her sister. And all the while she's calling out Buffy's name.]

Buffy?! Buffy!

[It takes Buffy a moment recover and of course she doesn't hear Dawn's shrieking because the device is down. She snags the device up once she has recovered and starts back toward the City proper and the warehouse. Phantom pains? Definitely research material.]

[Buffy looks up when Dawn shows up. She's still got her hand over her stomach but she's dealing better with it than she did on the video simply because she knows what to expect now]

I don't know...exactly. [And then a pause because she's pretty sure she never told Dawn she got run through with a sword by The First] Okay, don't get mad but the First ran me through with a sword when we cratered Sunnydale. Lots of stabbing pain there now.

Ish? Sort of breathless with the pain thing until a second ago. No gaping, stabby wounds though.

That makes sense [She winches, breath taken away for just a moment. She's expecting it this time and handles it better though] So not a fan of swords.

[And then she remembers that Aya showed up to help save Dawn with a sword] No offense.
