[Buffy is standing near the carousel, scythe in hand. She's staring up at the giant egg thing that's now hovering over the carousal. She's got her head tilted to the side and she appears to be entirely puzzled. In her experience egg things don't go so well. They hatch monsters and aliens and creepy things that take over your brain. She does not ( Read more... )

I'm all up for cracking it to see what's inside. If it's here, then there's no telling what it's going to do.

Sort of my train of thought. I don't know if we can crack it or not but I think it's worth trying.

I think Yay Violence Girl wouldn't poll before she went to her kill. Have you seen something like this before?

Exactly this, no. I've seen eggs where things that fed on your brain grew in them.

So you think the egg is a big bad?

Eggs. When have they been of the good in our experience?

I was thinking of taking a closer look, myself. Want a lift?

Hiya!

[Buffy gives the wings a bit of a look. Dulcie is kind of...petite to be hauling another person, even another petite person up. Of course judging someone by their looks isn't really Buffy's thing.]

I think it's perfectly reasonable to feel a need to destroy something from which you feel you may need protecting, but it could be a perfectly harmless creature that doesn't deserve to die before even living at all.

Yeah. Could be. [Oh you with your logic.] And it could eat us all with tea. With my luck, I'm betting on the last one. Is your luck any better?

Perhaps consider binding it instead, to first uncover whether or not it's actually a threat. Destroying an innocent creature is needless. I'm afraid my luck of late hasn't been what it was when I was still home, but it isn't terrible. It is worth attempting, though.

You're going to need someone more magic-y than me to bind anything. I'm sort of the muscle not the spell girl.
