[Unbeknownst to Buffy, Dawn did a spell, and because of this spell she is painfully happy. The video screen shows her with a smile that's stretched from ear to ear. Underneath the blinding brightness, she looks tired, exhausted from the sheer effort of being happy. When she speaks, her voice is annoyingly chipper, like it's stretched too thin, too

[She seemed weird when they met too. He's sort of watching her like he's worried she's going to Stepford at any moment.]

Well, I mean, it was a good kiss but I'm not totally sold on the opportunistic aspect so much. Makes it sound a bit... creepy.

[At this point, she's at least 3/4 Stepford behavior wise anyway. She just needs the clothing. Okay...probably not because then she'd be staking vampires in a 50's housewife dress.]

[That sounds like it could be the best movie ever made. Or at least an interesting one; vampires and the 1950s don't get paired very often.]

Oddly still not really helping with the creepiness. Actually starting to lean a little toward the over-friendly-neighbour side of things. There is a point to be made, sure, but it's a bit more on the implied and less so the declared.

Nobody likes a vague disclaimer, warning, implied something. There's too much wiggle room.
