End of the Month. End of the Line?

It is June 30th; pay day and month end. It could also be my last day with the firm. The Partners are moving their practice to the Washington, DC office and need local support. It is a very complicated set of agreements that need to be reviewed and negotiated. Regardless, your assistant cannot be 1,500 miles away and remain effective.

Could this be a "blessing in disguise" given some of the crap you've put up with? Encouragement to find a better job, etc? As long as the unemployment situation isn't too bad down that way.
