Going abroad has been an amazing experience for me. Perhaps I really like traveling, but I learned so much by going abroad. Returning home from a foreign country can be depressing. Firstly, things may have changed while you are gone. For example, an entire school department go renamed while I was gone. After spending 4 days in Turkey, I finally returned to Copenhagen yesterday afternoon only to leave the shitty city again at night for Stockholm. It's funny how my two Education Abroad Trip can differ so much. When I was in Turkey, I usually stayed in and travelled on the weekends. However, in Denmark, I go out so much more, and stay in on the weekends. I finally got into the classes that I should take this quarter, they are Environmental and Resource Geography and Global Politics of the Environment. In order to get into my Environmentla Geography class, I had to go through at least 4 different office, so you can see how inefficient the Danish University is. I once again got lost as usual, and will probably drop my AIDS in Africa just because it's entails so much reading and provide credits that I don't need.
