SF was amazing!!! It's such a gorgeous city-- the hills are really picturesque (and really hard to climb-- the trolleys make them fun, though!). Ken and I took a ferry under the Golden Gate Bridge, ate lots of chocolate at Ghiradelli Square, and got lost a lot.
My paper topic was a bit too serious/off topic at the conference, I think, since it was a Pop Culture/American Culture Conference. Our moderator didn't show up for my panel, and Ken was the only audience member, so we just sat around, talking about our papers to each other-- it was still pretty cool. Ken's Buffy paper had at least 20 people in the audience and his paper sold out at the paper table!
