Whither White Flour?

Aug 25, 2007 08:11

So I've been trying to find a wheat-free "all purpose" flour. I haven't. However, I've used several sources and more than a little mathematical acrobatics (mathemobatics?) to come up with a flour to use as a starting point in recipes. What follows are recipes for both the flour, and some delightful dark chocolate and walnut brownies.

Have you tried Bob's Red Mill? I've been using it in cakes and cookies and it's worked out great in everything I've tried so far!

I haven't tried Bob's APF, but his bread mix rocked! I haven't found a local distributor I like, so I may just buy it off the site.

Thanks for the tip! :-)
