you can direct a stream of water into your ear in the shower, and if that doesn't work, ask your doctor to blast it out with water.. sounds gross, but it works wonders.

i tried that today. I was a bit cautious about tossing more stuff in my ear, especially since I couldn't remove anything with q-tips.
