I haven't been a member since Apocalypse 8, but knowing this is over makes me unbelievably sad. This was a special place.

It does me, too. Making the decision to close it was one of the hardest things I've done. There's been many tears this week, knowing the end was coming.

Even though I was only around for the last two apocalypses I'm extremely sad to see this community go!! Had such a great time on Team Angel, and can't wait for the reunions. Aimee, thanks for you're time and effort as a mod - I really enjoyed the challenges. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all this free time I'll have :/

This feels... strange. This community has brought a lot of joy to so many people and to see it close down... it makes me sad, in an end-of-an-era kind of way. School's out, and we'll all see each other at class reunion. ♥

I have no point here, other than perhaps to chime in and agree with everybody else - Whedonland and its members and mods will be missed ♥
