conversation with my dad:

w: i just got back from looking at the senior work.. it was pretty sweet
d: was it good?
w: yeah
d: can you buy it?
w: if you want to i guess..
d: would i like any of it?
w: idunno... idunno what kinda art you like
d: i like avant garde

all of a sudden i really appreciate the fugees
and i think old dirty bastard had a really beautiful voice.

another thing-- all of a sudden i've been having emotional reactions to pattern.
this has never happened ever before..
i've always not noticed or ignored pattern and repetitive forms.
but all of a sudden they stop me in my tracks

so since that brain surgery dream
i have had a headache every day...
that's a week
i'm a little scared
